I am working as Assistant Professor (Hort.) in Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kancheepuram. Challenges have always motivated me to bring the best out of myself and strive to achieve the greatest. My father is a farmer and I spent my childhood on a farm. So, I have been involved for my entire life with the issues that concern me most. Those things motivated me to study horticulture, as I believed it would bring me closer to finding answers to the challenging questions of horticulture.  I have completed B.Sc. (Hort.), M.Sc. (Hort.) program at Adhiparasakthi Agricultural College, Kalavai. In my both Masters and Doctoral program I received “Jain Research Fellowship” by Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, Jalgaon, Maharastra.  To equip my research caliber, I have actively participated in plethora of academic gatherings like seminar, conferences, trainings and symposiums. I have published five International, three National, four popular articles and eight Book chapters and also I have cleared ASRB NET in Fruit science in the year 2013.  I have 3+ years of experience in teaching. I can teach my students in an innovative trend with the experiences I had so far. I realize that the students are the future assets of the society.
