Dr. Datta A. Dhale did his M.Sc. (2001) and Ph.D. (2008) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.). Presently, he is Assistant Professor in Post-Graduate Department of Botany, S.S.V.P. Sanstha’s L.K.Dr.P.R. Ghogrey Science College, Dhule (M.S.). He is young and enthusiastic teacher and research worker. He honored 4 different awards like, Young Scientist award-2014, Dalitmitra Dr. Shriramji Bhangdiya Award, etc. He has published 64 research papers in national and international journals. He actively participated in more than 45 seminars and conferences, besides many training programmes. He has keen interest in editing and is associated with Journal of different 18 Journals. He guided 14 candidates for research projects for university academic degrees (M.Sc.).
It is worth notable that he also published a book ‘Medicinal Plants of Maharashtra’ (2015), My Vishwa Publishing House, Pune. It is a database especially for Ayurveda and particularly for medicinal plants found in the State of Maharashtra. Again on similar line, he published recently the most interesting and historical plant group ‘Spices and Condiments: Origin, History & Applications’ (2012), Daya Publishing House, Delhi. It is useful to the students, teachers and research-workers in botany, agriculture and medicine.
