Prerak Bhatnagar, Ph.D born on 22.03.1972 at Bikaner, Ph.D (Ag.) in Horticulture with Specialization in Fruit Crops   from Rajasthan Agriculture   University, Bikaner, 2000.  11 Years 1 months of experience. Presently working as Assistant Professor (Fruit Science) at   College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar.

Dr. Prerak Bhatnagar completed his doctorate degree in Horticulture from Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner in 2000. He joined as Assistant Professor (Pomology) at the Department of Fruit Science of the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar then a constituent unit of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur on 17.03.2005. His contribution in teaching produced cent per cent results in courses entrusted to him. He has guided four MSc. Horticulture (Fruit Science) students successfully. A new centre on Arid Zone Fruits of research scheme “All India Coordinated Research Project” has been established during 2009 at Fruit Instructional Farm at this college and Dr. Bhatnagar has been part of the project since its commissioning with a large collection of germplasm of underutilized fruit crops like custard apple, tamarind, lasoda and bael have been made and planted over the 5 hectare area at the College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar. Dr. Bhatnagar represented College of Horticulture and Forestry, Jhalawar at the world’s highest platform of horticulture and visited Portugal, Israel and Australia during 2010, 2012 and 2014, respectively. He contributed 60 research papers on horticulture in various peer reviewed journals of national and international repute. Dr.Bhatnagar is a peer horticulturist with strong sense of dedication and devotion to the cause of development of horticulture.
