            Dr. R. Jothi Mani was born in Salem of Tamil Nadu in 1984 and She is an Assistant Professor in Physics working at the Sadakathullah Appa College,Tirunelveli,Tamil Nadu. She has completed her UG degree at Holy Cross College, Trichy, Tamli Nadu, PG degree at Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, M.Phil degree at Thanthai Hanns Rover College, Perambalur, Tamil nadu, P.hD at Manonmanium Sundaranar University,Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, B.Ed degree at Ansaldo College of Education, Chetpet, Tamil Nadu, M.Ed Degree at St.Xavier;s College of Education, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu and she acquired First Class with Distinction in all the degrees. She has eight years of teaching experience. She holds Rank in High School state Board Examination, UG degree, Bachelor of Education Degree, Master of Education Degree and M.Phil degree. She has obtained Master of philosophy degree in physics with the thesis entitled “Influence of lanthanum oxide doped fiber optics under methanol gas”. She has also received Doctoral degree in physics with the thesis entitled “Investigation on Growth and Characterization of some NLO based L–alanine dependent single crystals”. She has three years of research experience by working as DST Project Assistant at Aditanar Arts and Science College, Tiruchendur, Tamil Nadu and she is expert in handling research instrumentations. She has published, nine international articles, one national article in various publications.  She has attended/presented thirty four national and international seminars and conferences. She has received many best paper awards in research paper presentations. Her research interests are in the field of crystal growth and nanotechnology.
