|Dr. R. Selvaraj is an Associate Professor / Scientist In-charge of CPCSEA approved Centre for Laboratory Animal Technology and Research, Sathyabama University, Chennai, India with eighteen years of teaching and research experience. He earned his B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. His research areas include Rat Pheromone Biochemistry and Reproductive behavior of rodents. He has published more than forty research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has delivered several invited lectures in National level conferences. He has organized more than fifteen workshops / training programmes on lab animal research and attended 45 more National and International Conferences and Training Programmes. He is a life member of Lab Animal Scientist Association (LASA), India and Journal of the Society for Biology and Biotechnology and served as a member in various committees such as Institutional Animal Ethics Committee, Institutional Bio-safety Committee, Institutional Human Ethics Committee, Ph.D Advisory Committee, Scientific Review Board, Ph.D. Thesis evaluation Committee etc., He has been serving as a Reviewer to some National and International Journals.|
